10 Years of Employee Ownership
We have proudly held the title of being the first 100% employee owned shipbroking business since 2015, becoming a fully independent company, run on behalf of, and for the benefit of all employees worldwide.

Each year, we come together for a worldwide fundraising challenge, uniting our global offices in a common mission. From supporting access to education in Nairobi to contributing to local charities in our communities, these initiatives strengthen our team beyond business as usual, whilst making a positive impact on the wider world.



Trainee Broker Scheme
Launched in 2022, our Trainee Broker Scheme gives high-potential individuals the opportunity to learn from some of the most successful brokers in the world. We look for those with a proven interest in shipping, who impress us with their drive, determination and confidence. Candidates will be invited to an annual assessment centre, followed by an in depth interview process. Over a two year period, trainees will be rotated across the company and work from at least two Gibson offices.
